Useful and Sustainable Ways to Re-Use Your Orange Peels

1. Make Hairspray - collect and dry the peels of about a dozen oranges.
Place into a pot and fill water just to cover the peels. Place on a low boil until all that is left is a thick paste. Strain and cool. Then, add the sticky substance to a spray bottle, fill with water and a dash of alcohol to preserve. It works!

2. Make orange scented vinegar for your salad. Take a mason jar and put squeezed oranges and peels inside, tightly cover and fill to the top with apple cider vinegar. About 3 weeks later, strain and use in your salad.

2. Make orange scented cleaning vinegar - Take a mason jar and put squeezed oranges and peels inside, tightly cover and fill to the top with white vinegar. About 3 weeks later, strain and put into a spray bottle and mix with 1/2 distilled water. Use to clean windows, counters, toilets, and more.
